Connor's Automotive Thesis (CORRECTED 2026-07-02, refined)

The worldview Connor's bringing to his career in the "automotive" industry. Refined 2026-07-02 — Connor is into luxury and sports cars, not pure EV.

The refined thesis (NEW 2026-07-02)

"Connor is not too interested in pure EV stuff. He's more into luxury and sports cars."

Stack of the corrected signal:

  1. Won't join Tesla (disagrees with their ideals as a car company) — captured earlier
  2. Sees Tesla as technology, not automotive — captured earlier
  3. Not into pure EV stuff — captured now
  4. Into luxury and sports cars — captured now

This is a significantly different career target than the prior "automotive-as-tech / EV / battery" reading. Connor is into:

NOT into:

What this changes about the v6 message to Connor

The v6 message had Munich as the strongest fit. Under the refined thesis, Munich is still the strongest fit — but for a different reason. Munich wins because of BMW M / Audi Sport / Porsche proximity, not "BMW i tech-forward EV" as the prior v6 message framed it.

The Berlin section of v6 is now wrong for two reasons:

  1. Tesla Gigafactory (already out per v6 correction)
  2. "EV / mobility startups" is also out per refined thesis

Berlin drops entirely from Connor's shortlist.

Recommended update to v6 message

The Berlin section should either:

Munich's framing in the v6 message can stay but the BMW / Audi / MAN / Siemens line should pivot from "automotive tech" to "luxury performance + EV lines" framing.

Amsterdam can stay; DAF / Stellantis mention is a bit weak under refined thesis but isn't wrong.
