When a vendor's API requires credentials you can't get, a public RSS feed is almost always sufficient for personal-scale data ingestion — same architectural shape, lower fidelity per item, no auth. The npm-client route was technically working but dead-code-on-arrival without Letterboxd API keys; pivoting to the member's RSS endpoint swapped the carrier without changing the pipeline.
